XYZ

The "XYZ" stands for Extra Years of Zest! XYZ Calvary is the
Senior group of Calvary UMC, however people of all ages are welcome to join us.
Invitations to other local churches have brought many new faces who participate
with our programs and meals. There are no dues and you do not have to be a
member of Calvary to participate.

We have two basic activities each month

Brunch, second Sunday of the month, 12:15 p.m. We meet on West Second Street (opposite Zimmerman's florist) to carpool to one of the many restaurants in the area.

Program and Potluck, 3rd Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. Our programs are held in Calvary's Parish Hall at 10:30 a.m. and are followed by a potluck lunch at noon.

Additional activities include "away programs" when we travel to dinner theatres and other points of interest. For these events we meet behind the old Ames Department store (located in the Frederick Shopping Center off 7th Street) where transportation is provided. Details and sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board outside the Parish Hall
