The Calvary United Methodist Women cordially invites all women in the church to become active in our group. We have several general, or organization-wide, meetings each year as well as monthly or bimonthly meetings of each circle. There are currently 4 circles from which to choose. Please feel free to contact the circle chairperson listed below or Elaine Childs, President (301-834-8247) if you need additional information. If you are not already a member of one of our circles, how about visiting one - or even all four of them—to see where YOU might fit in the UMW. Circles provide a comfortable way to bond with others in a small group format.

Yard Sale The United Methodist Women are particularly active fundraisers. Each year, they organize a church yard sale, which gives the community a chance to empty out a closet, or fill it with bargains. Baked goods and Frederick's favorite sandwich (Ham) are sold as well.
The UMW also produced a cookbook in 2008, which was a very successful fundraiser. Many members shared their families favorite traditional recipes for this effort.
