Missions
The Volunteer in Mission team works to support missions locally, around the United States, and abroad. The team provides financial support for a number of missions, in addition to performing a mission project annually.
2012 - Tree of Life Ministries (Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota)
For more information about our 2012 trip, including how to sign up, check out our blog.
2011 - Haiti
In the summer of 2011, a team from Calvary will be heading to Haiti to assist in the ongoing relief efforts there. For more information about how you can support our team, contact the church office.
2009 Trip - Beaumont, Texas
In 2009, a team from Calvary will be travelling to Beaumont, Texas to help repair homes damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2008. This area was also hit by Rita in 2005. The team is scheduled to leave on June 20 and return on June 27.
Mission trips are hard work, but they also provide an opportunity for fellowship and produce lifelong memories. If you feel God calling you in this direction, please contact Ray McKinnon or the church office.

Fundraising: Gong Show and Super Bowl Subs
Performers at the 2008 Gong Show The VIM team conducts two major fundraisers each year. The second annual Gong Show will be held on April 25, 2009. A wide variety of talents will be on display. This is a joint effort between the Missions team and the Music ministry, and funds raised will support work in both areas. Anyone interested in having their "big break" and performing on Calvary's stage is invited to contact Ray McKinnon or Joche Wilmot.

This year's Super Bowl Subs fundraiser was a success. Check out the great team who put together this year's (2012) Super Bowl Subs in the photo at the top of the page! Funds will be used to support the 2012 VIM trip to South Dakota.
