Becoming a New Member Calvary members are committed to being messengers of the grace and love of God made visible in Jesus Christ. Those seeking a church home are welcome and invited to visit and explore membership in this congregation. New Members Calvary periodically receives new members, either by Profession of Faith or by Letter of Transfer from another church. New member orientation classes provide an introduction to the church and its faith. They are offered to those requesting membership at Calvary. The class meets at 9:45 a.m. on the three Sundays preceding the Sunday when new members are received. If you feel God is leading you to make Calvary your church home, contact any of the pastors to inquire about the next new members class. Confirmation Class Calvary’s Confirmation Class is offered annually to youth in grade 7 and older.  Classes start on the second Sunday of September and meet weekly through early May at 8:30 a.m. in the Memorial Room. The curriculum used is “Claim the Name,” which is designed to help youth to claim the names “Christian” and “United Methodist.”  In addition to weekly classes the youth also participate in a variety of field trips and often a retreat.   For more information contact Rev.
